We see every challenge as an opportunity, and Premier Educator Grants and Education Express Grant initiative helps Plainview Education Foundation ensure that educators we serve are prepared to provide unique and innovative classroom instruction for the students of Plainview Independent School District.

Premier Educator Grant
Premier Educator Grants are intended for instructional materials and incentives that provide an educational or social-behavioral need for students. In Fall 2023, we issued grants in the value of $13,000! For 2024, we reviewed requests amounting to $30,000! We awarded $19,000! Recipients of the 2024 Premier Educator Grants are:

Rosanna Madrigal (Plainview High School) for Snak Shack
Jessica Watts and Cheyenne Bird (Plainview High School) Ag Science in Curriculum
Maria Nessen (Plainview Collegiate High School) novels
Brittany Moses (Central Elementary) for RESTORE
6th grade social studies (PLIS) for Nearpod

Education Express Grants
Education Express Grants provide funding for student organizations and enrichment projects. For student organizations, at least one fundraiser should have been done. PEF can assist when there have been unforeseen changes in the budget. Plainview Education Foundation can provide funds up to $1,000 for one project a month. Applications are due by the 5th of each month and are awarded by the 20th of the month. Complete the form and email it to: plainvieweducationfoundation@gmail.com
