Premier Educator Grants & Education Express Grants
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and Premier Educator Grants and Education Express Grant initiative helps Plainview Education Foundation ensure that educators we serve are prepared to provide unique and innovative classroom instruction for the students of Plainview Independent School District.
In Fall 2023, we issued to grants in the value of $13,000! This is a marvelous jump from 2022 and we can't wait to share these projects with all of you! 2023 Premier Educator Grant Recipients are:
Chelsea Rushing (Central Elementary) for Character Houses
Leseley Lara (South Elementary) for Art Club
Elizabeth Martinez (South Elementary) for Interactive Literacy Centers
Sarah Perry (South Elementary) for Building Character Reading Station
Lori Johnston (Plainview Intermediate) for PBIS Incentive Trip
Clarissa Huron (District) School Supplies for Family Engagement Center

Education Express Grants
NEW for 2024!
Education Express Grants provide funding for education and student enrichment projects when an unforeseen need arises during the school year. Plainview Education Foundation can provide funds up to $1,000 for two projects a month. Complete the form and email to: plainvieweducationfoundation@gmail.com
Building Character Reading Library
Sarah Perry, South Elementary teacher, was granted funds to begin a classroom library for books on character building for students.
